GEMCO Auction House was founded in Genoa in 2026 for the sale at auction of jewellery, watches and silver, alongside departments dedicated to antiques, modern art, Asian art and fine wines.
Every lot passes through our laboratory: gemstones are examined and graded to international standards, metals verified for fineness, watches checked for movement and references. This is why our catalogue entries describe what an object is, not what it appears to be.
We work with collectors, heirs and professionals, in Italy and abroad: from the initial valuation to final settlement, with a single point of contact throughout.
How an auction works
- 01
Register — Create an account with your personal details. Identity verification is required by anti-money-laundering regulations and is necessary in order to bid.

Browse the catalogue — Every lot has photographs, a description, an estimate and a condition note. You can contact the department or view the item in person during the exhibition.
- 03
Bid — You can leave a written bid before the sale, attend in the saleroom, follow the auction online or bid by telephone.
- 04
Collect — If you are successful you will receive an invoice including buyer's premium. Collection is either from our premises or by insured shipping, as you prefer.
