CARTIER - Burmese ruby and diamond ring
Estimate
EUR 12,000 – EUR 13,500
Three-stone ring, the round-section yellow gold shank slightly tapering towards the setting and joined at the shoulders by claw-shaped elements. The mount, with four rounded claws for the central stone and angular claws for the flanking stones, supports an oval brilliant-cut ruby of Burmese origin, Mogok district, with no indications of heating and accompanied by an SSEF report stating the colour "Pigeon blood". Applied to either side are two trilliant-cut diamonds of white colour and apparent good clarity. The inner shank is struck with the maison's signature, standard marks and serial number; the gold shows light surface wear.
