HANS BUSCH Rare devotional watch in the form of a cross, in engraved and burnished silver, Germanic region, 18th/19th century, with a movement of earlier conception. An extraordinary and unusual object of horological and devotional art in the form of a hinged Latin cross, probably German or Austro-Hungarian. The case, in silver engraved with foliate motifs and floral scrolls of neo-Renaissance taste, shows refined burin work with pierced elements and applied gilt-metal details.
