Ultra-thin pocket watch, round yellow gold case with hinged back and cover, opening by means of a button integrated into the rocking-bar crown, pendant and bow with engraved decoration. The outer surface and the dial are entirely covered in black enamel over a burin-engraved ground, with a motif of foliate scrolls, palmettes and rosettes radiating around a central flower; the spherical bow bears matching enamelled decoration. The dial displays a digital indication of the hour through an aperture, with hour disc and minute sector on a silvered ground, according to the jumping hour complication, set within a cartouche of Neoclassical taste. Manually wound mechanical movement, with gold winding key of shield form, complete with steel barrel; example in working order at the time of cataloguing, enamel with slight scattered crazing.
